The Daintree Coast receives an impressive 4-6 meters of rain each year! Cyclones can be a threat throughout the wet season from December to April bringing heavy rainfalls and strong winds. Monsoons during the wet season can cause flooding especially around the Daintree River causing suspension of ferry travel, landslides and damage to roadways.
